Industry: contractors

Contractor websites that produce quote requests

Service pages, project proof, service areas, and mobile call paths—built for how homeowners actually hire.

Zqdo builds websites for general contractors and specialty trades that need the site to do sales work after hours. A contractor site is not a portfolio for other contractors. It is a trust and lead machine for local customers.

The service

What contractor websites have to do

Homeowners search with a city and a job: kitchen remodel Melbourne, contractor Palm Bay, addition Viera. They want proof you work nearby, that you finish jobs, and that it is easy to ask for a quote without a 12-field form.

Most contractor sites fail in the same ways: a homepage of stock photos, services dumped in a paragraph, no service-area pages, galleries that are not organized by job type, and a contact form that asks for too much too soon.

In Brevard County the competitive set includes national lead marketplaces. A strong site plus local SEO is how you own more of your own demand instead of renting it.

Who it’s for

Who this is for

Residential and light-commercial contractors who get hired from search, referrals, and reviews.

  • General contractors in Melbourne, Palm Bay, Viera, and Brevard County
  • Remodelers who need project galleries that sell the next job
  • Builders whose current site is a digital business card
  • Trades expanding into branded contracting services

Problems we solve

Problems contractor websites usually have

If your phone rings from Facebook more than from your own site, the site is not doing its job.

  • Services are unclear

Remodel, new build, and repair are different searches. Each needs a page with proof.

  • No service-area story

Customers want to know you work in their city. Unique location pages beat a footer list of towns.

  • Proof is buried

Before/after galleries, reviews, licenses, and process belong near the ask—not on a distant About page.

  • Quotes are hard to request on a phone

Sticky call buttons, short forms, and photo upload for the job site matter more than desktop animations.

Marketing considerations

Paid ads only pay off if the landing page matches the job and the city. We build pages that can support both organic and paid without a separate microsite for every campaign.

SEO considerations

Contractor SEO is local and service-specific. We do not manufacture dozens of thin city pages. We write unique pages for the markets that can rank and convert.

FAQ

Contractor website FAQs

  • Do you only work with Brevard County contractors?

Brevard County is the first local market we are building for. We also work remotely with contractors elsewhere. Local pages are only created when we can write genuine service-area content.

  • Can you connect quote forms to our CRM?

Yes. Integrations are part of the build when you already have a system. If you do not, we start with reliable email and call tracking and add CRM when it will actually be used.

  • Should contractors be on Shopify?

Usually no. Shopify is for product catalogs. Most contractors need a fast marketing site with service and location pages. We will say so if ecommerce is not the job.
